1. Who we are

Webometry is a digital engineering lab operated from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This policy explains how we handle information collected through webometry.in. For anything not covered here, write to us and we will answer directly.

2. What we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address, and, where offered, company name and message content. We do not collect payment details, government identifiers, or any special category personal data through this site.

Our hosting layer records standard server logs, including IP address, user agent, and requested URL. These logs exist for security and reliability, and are not used to build a profile of you.

3. How we use it

Submitted information is used only to respond to your enquiry and to discuss a potential engagement. If we begin work together, the same details are used for project communication and invoicing.

We do not sell your data. We do not share submissions with third parties for marketing. We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list without an explicit opt in.

4. Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies, we process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to a business request, and, for any marketing communication, on the basis of consent that you can withdraw at any time.

5. How we store it

Enquiries are stored in our internal CRM and email tools, hosted with reputable providers under contractual confidentiality terms. Access is restricted to lab staff who need it. Transport is encrypted over HTTPS.

We retain enquiry records for up to twenty four months from the last contact, unless a live engagement requires longer, or you ask us to delete them sooner.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses privacy respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns: page views, referrers, and device class. We do not run cross site advertising trackers or sell audience data.

Third party embeds, such as the Google Maps frame on our contact page, are loaded in privacy enhanced mode where the provider supports it. Those embeds are governed by the provider's own policy.

7. Sub processors

We rely on a small set of service providers to run the lab: website hosting, transactional and marketing email delivery, cloud storage, and CRM. Each is bound by its own data processing terms. We will name the current providers on request.

8. Your rights

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a specific use. Email us and we will respond within thirty days.

9. Children

This website is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected in the effective date shown above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
